Inner Atonement by Imagination
Exodus 29:10-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage instructs bringing a bullock to the tabernacle, laying hands on its head, killing it at the doorway, and applying its blood to the horns of the altar while pouring the rest at the base; this ritual symbolizes cleansing, dedication, and holy separation.
Neville's Inner Vision
Exodus reveals the inner rite: a bullock stands for a former state of consciousness brought into the sanctuary of your mind. When you place your hands on its head, you are naming, here and now, that the old self is identified and ready to be transfigured. The killing before the LORD is not violence to another; it is the decisive act of withdrawing belief from that old image within you. The blood poured at the altar is not corporeal death but the vital energy you redirect into the altar of consciousness, sealing your new stance. The horns of the altar become focal points where energy is concentrated—your intention, your faith, your decision to worship in truth rather than form. Pouring the rest by the bottom signifies allowing the foundation of your inner temple to be cleansed of the old claim that the self is separate from God. In this inner ritual, the tabernacle is your awareness, and the LORD is the I AM that never changes. What you saw as outer sacrifice becomes a practice of inner alignment.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and declare, I am one with God here and now. See your old self as the bullock, feel the release as you pour the blood at the base of your inner altar, and rest in the certainty that your worship is already true.
