Biblical Context

Exodus 28:39-40 instructs Aaron and his sons to wear linen robes, headdresses, and sashes, garments for glory and beauty.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the outer garment is never merely fabric; it is the inner order of the temple called by your own I AM. Exodus 28:39–40 shows the apparel of Aaron and his sons, linen garments, mitres and girdles, provided for glory and for beauty. The true meaning is that your state of consciousness clothes itself in consistent forms. When you dwell in a state of holiness and separation, you are not seeking to change the world; you are asking your inner self to align with the truth you desire. The high priest in you stands in the inner sanctuary, and the linen attire is the transparency of your awareness—clear, unshadowed, and suitable to your function as guardian of the temple. The presence of God is the felt sense of I AM in operation, not a distant event but an ongoing movement of noticing that you are already that which you seek to express. Embody glory, embody beauty by holding the image of yourself as clothed in virtue, beauty, and reverence, and let outward conditions respond to that inner order.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes. Assume you are already clothed in linen of glory; feel the texture, and quietly repeat I am clothed in glory and beauty until the feeling is real.
