23And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.
24And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.
25And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.
Exodus 2:23-25

Biblical Context

The Israelites suffer bondage, cry out to God, and God hears and remembers the covenant, turning toward them with favor.

Neville's Inner Vision

Verse 23–25 shows that bondage is not a physical condition but a state of consciousness you have accepted. When you sigh and cry within, God—the I AM at the center of you—hears that inner call and remembers the timeless covenant you share with the ancestors of your spiritual self. The moment you recognize that memory, God looks upon you with favor; He is not distant but the very awareness you are. The exodus you seek arises as you shift from identifying with bondage to remembering the covenant as your true identity. Your prayers awaken an inner response, and the outer circumstance begins to align with the interior sun of your awakening. Trust that you are seen, heard, and forever established in the I AM, and watch the seemingly outer bondage dissolve as consciousness reclaims its rightful freedom.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you are already free, knowing the I AM is looking upon you with favor; dwell in that feeling until freedom becomes your natural state.
