Exodus 19:10-11

Biblical Context

God tells Moses to sanctify the people, have them wash their clothes, and be ready for the third day when the Lord will descend upon Sinai.

Neville's Inner Vision

Exodus 19:10-11 speaks not of a distant mountain but the inner mountain you carry within. To sanctify is to cleanse the mind of fear and habit, washing the clothes of thought until your inner room is receptive to revelation. The two days of preparation are the two acts of self-remembering—acknowledging that you are the I AM and choosing alignment over reaction. On the third day, the Lord descends in the sight of all the people; likewise, when your state is prepared, a new certainty enters your life, a direct presence that alters how you think, feel, and act. Sinai becomes the field of awareness where you meet your divine self; this is covenant loyalty—tending the inner sanctuary with disciplined thought and feeling, allowing the Lord's presence to become your natural mode of experience.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and assume: I am sanctified now. Wash away doubt, align will with the I AM, and feel the Lord's descent into awareness.
