Biblical Context

Esther is shown a decree to destroy her people and is charged to approach the king to plead for them.

Neville's Inner Vision

Esther 4:8 presents a written decree placed before Esther, and a command to go in unto the king and plead for her people. In the inner life, that decree is a state of consciousness you have accepted as real. When you become aware of the decree, you are not bound by it; you are invited to revise from the I AM—the king within. Entering his presence is entering your own mindful throne room and acting from the end: assume your petition is already granted. The act of declaring and requesting is not outside permission but a shift of belief, a decision to live from the end where deliverance is already accomplished. Your people’s safety becomes your present experience as you hold the vision and feel the relief and gratitude before the change appears. The outer event then follows as the natural fruit of that inner state, for the kingdom is the I AM that works through your imagination into form.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and declare, 'I am already in the king's presence, and my petition is granted.' Feel the relief, gratitude, and certainty now and carry that feeling into your day.
