Biblical Context
Esther 3:12-14 shows the king’s scribes drafting a decree to destroy the Jews, sealing it with the king’s ring and sending it to every province. It outlines a specific day of peril announced to all peoples.
Neville's Inner Vision
Behold the decree as a symbol of inner weather. The king's signet and sealed writing mirror fixed beliefs you have allowed to dominate your consciousness. The Jews represent your true nature, vitality, and the good you fear losing; their destruction symbolizes an inner attempt to erase parts of yourself you deem dangerous or other. The reach into every province echoes how a single misbelief travels through all the rooms of mind—words, memories, habits—creating a global climate of threat. The spoil and plunder point to the inner claim that life is a contest for possession rather than a harmony of being. Yet this is only a dream in the mind. The cure is to reverse the decree by assuming the opposite state: you are protected, united, and abundant; feel the truth of your I AM rewriting the script; let imagination create the new reality and publish it in every corner of your awareness. When you revise in consciousness, the outer world follows, reflecting a new decree of life rather than destruction.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise the decree by assuming the desired state as already true. Feel it thoroughly until your I AM rewrites the script.
