Scripture Focus

4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Ephesians 1:4

Biblical Context

God chose us in Christ before creation, to be holy and blameless in love.

Neville's Inner Vision

What the verse says in Neville’s language is: you are the I AM, chosen in Christ now, not in some distant time. 'In him' points to the state of consciousness in which you exist; 'before the foundation of the world' is the timeless fact your true nature is already established in awareness. The object is holiness and blameless love, not as a moral decree laid upon you from without, but as your native atmosphere—a holiness that flows from love toward all beings. When you accept this end as true, you awaken it in your life. Imagination becomes the instrument by which you realize it; your assumptions become the conditions that shape experience. Begin with the feeling that you are already holy and beloved, that you stand faultless in love before the I AM. Persist in that assumption until the senses register the state: peace, compassion, confident self-respect. The world then mirrors the inner state, so your circumstances align with the interior choice. You are not trying to become holy; you are recognizing the holiness that you already are in God.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Sit in stillness and repeat, 'I am chosen in Christ; I am holy and blameless in love.' Feel that state as real here and now, letting it color every thought and perception.
