Higher Law Behind Injustice

Ecclesiastes 5:8 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Ecclesiastes 5 in context

Scripture Focus

8If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
Ecclesiastes 5:8

Biblical Context

The verse acknowledges oppression and corrupted judgment but points to a higher power that governs all.

Neville's Inner Vision

Yes, you see oppression in the outer world; but the 'higher than the highest' is your own I AM, the divine center that knows no lack or injustice. The outer province of injustice is only a scene in your consciousness. When you dwell in that awareness, you align your inner law with justice. Do not wrestle with the appearance; instead, assume the state where such oppression never touches you. In that state, the 'law' is not a waiting external retribution, but a present inner order that reforms perception and circumstance. Your task is to revise your sense of what is real, to feel as if the just outcome is already accomplished, and to let the feeling of its reality permeate your being. The moment you accept this higher jurisdiction as your own, the outer province shifts; people and events respond to your inner posture. Remember, every oppressive scene is a reminder of your opportunity to awaken to the higher law within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: Sit quietly, breathe, then imagine a scene where the higher I AM governs the province and a just resolution unfolds; feel the gratitude as if it is already done.
