Inner Wealth Trap: A Conscious Reading
Ecclesiastes 5:13 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Ecclesiastes 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse warns that riches kept by the owner for themselves bring hurt. It points to the danger of greed and the futility of accumulating without purpose.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice how the writer speaks of riches as a living state of mind. In this sense, 'under the sun' is your outer scene; the 'sore evil' is the belief that wealth exists apart from your I AM. When you cling to riches you deny the I AM, the unity that circulates all ideas as your life. Wealth then appears not as possession but as the fruit of your inner state: a belief of separation. To revise, assume the feeling: I am wealth itself, flowing through and as my life; declare that abundance is my natural condition. Let that sense wash over you until you feel it real. The practice of giving, of letting wealth circulate, confirms that wealth is a medium, not a jail. As you stay with this inner shift, your provision aligns with the new consciousness, and the 'to their hurt' becomes a correction of your former state.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, revise aloud 'I am wealth circulating in my life.' Feel it real now and practice cheerful, open-handed giving as the natural flow of that consciousness.
