Interceding in Inner Fire

Deuteronomy 9:19-20 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 9 in context

Scripture Focus

19For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also.
20And the LORD was very angry with Aaron to have destroyed him: and I prayed for Aaron also the same time.
Deuteronomy 9:19-20

Biblical Context

Moses recalls fearing God's anger toward the people and Aaron. He notes that the Lord heeded his plea, and he prayed for Aaron at the same time.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the Deuteronomy scene, the outer event is fear of judgment; yet in the Neville view the outer reflects inner states. The people stand for your broader self and habitual patterns, while Aaron stands for your inner leadership and authority. The anger of the Lord is the friction of inner resistance in your subconscious. When the Lord hearkens, it is your awareness that this resistance can be revised by consciousness. Moses' act of praying for Aaron is your declaration to the I AM that mercy shall be extended to that inner leadership, not condemned. The intercession becomes the method by which you align every facet of yourself with your desired state. You do not battle your flaws; you bless and revise them. Practically, you can imagine that the inner Lord already approves your desire, and fear dissolves as you accept this truth, allowing obedience and harmony to emerge.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes. Assume you are already heard by the I AM, and intercede for your inner Aaron until peace feels real.
