In the inner-vision of Neville's teaching, the land is your state of consciousness and the Lord is the I AM that dwells in you. When you imagine entering the land and see the nations being cast out, you are not watching history but witnessing a transformation of your own beliefs. The seven nations (fear, doubt, scarcity, guilt, unworthiness, resentment, and limitation) stand as stubborn habits that have ruled your inner city. To smite them is to withdraw the energy that feeds them: refuse to identify with scarcity, reject fear's arguments, and cease negotiating with anything that diminishes your sense of self as the I AM. Deliverance comes not from outward conquest but from embodiment: you take possession by aligning with the truth that you are already free in the mind that commands all. The command to make no covenant with them becomes a vow of loyalty to your higher self, an uncompromising stance that says, I acknowledge only the divine presence within. When you stand in that state, the old powers fade away.
