Set Your Heart on Life
Deuteronomy 32:46-47 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 32 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Moses urges you to set your heart on all the words of the law and command your children to observe them. The words are your life, and observing them prolongs your days in the land you will enter.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the 'you' in this text is your inner I AM, the consciousness that can assume and revise. Set your heart to all the words I testify within you today—the inner commands you hear in stillness, the laws you resolve to live by. You shall command your children to observe them by living them. This is not a vain thing; it is your life. By aligning with these inner laws, you cross your Jordan—the shift of state from limitation to manifestation—into a land that is the natural condition of your being. The law is not external; it is the discipline by which you guard your thoughts, feelings, and actions. Obedience and faithfulness to your inner covenant with the I AM bring a prolongation of days as you dwell in the promised ambience of your own consciousness. Do this now: dwell within the inner word and revise any thought that disagrees, until your outer world becomes a faithful echo of what you acknowledge within.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, align with the I AM, and declare: 'I set my heart on the words that testify within me now; I live by them as life.' Then imagine yourself standing in the land you seek, already possessing it through the inner law.
