Inner Circumcision Awakening

Deuteronomy 30:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 30 in context

Scripture Focus

6And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.
Deuteronomy 30:6

Biblical Context

God purifies the heart—yours and your seed's—so you may love the Lord with all your heart and soul and thus live.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within your consciousness the Lord thy God is the I AM that you are. The circumcision spoken of here is not a ritual but a releasing of every belief that keeps your heart closed to Love. When you permit God to circumcise your heart, you consent to love as the sole motive, to align every thought and feeling with the living Presence within. Your seed, the future you, is the line of life that follows your inner state; by purifying the heart you bring forth a life that loves, obeys, and endures. To love the Lord with all your heart and soul becomes a total immersion in your present awareness, a feeling of being led by a loving, omnipresent I AM. This is a new creation: a renewal of your inner life so that fear dissolves and faithful trust springs up as your natural condition. You do not strive for outer outcomes; you revise, assume, and feel-real the state of being loved and guided, and life conforms to that inward truth.

Practice This Now

Assume you are already inwardly circumcised; feel the shift in your heart as love moves through you. Rest in the I AM within and revise any fear into devotion.
