Revealed Law Within

Deuteronomy 29:29 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Deuteronomy 29 in context

Scripture Focus

29The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.
Deuteronomy 29:29

Biblical Context

Some things are hidden beyond human knowledge and belong to God. What is revealed becomes our practical guide to live by and to hand on to our children.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the I AM you call God, the secret things are simply the unknowns of your own consciousness. They do not oppose you; they wait for you to reign in awareness. The revealed things are the moments of insight you choose to inhabit now—the inner law you accept as true. When you assume the very state that would be true if your desire were fulfilled, you are not asking the world to change; you are changing your inner state to match the end. The covenant is your ongoing alignment: loyalty to the state of consciousness that already is what you seek. The verse asks you to do the words of this law by living it, not by scrambling for external proofs. So, you cultivate a feeling of the wish fulfilled, and let that feeling drive your decisions, speech, and imagination. Secret things belong to God in the sense of inner origin; revealed things belong to you as your present experience through assumed reality and steady faith.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the state that the revealed law is now your reality: 'I am the one who knows and does every word of this law.' Feel it as present, and let that feeling govern your day.
