Rise and Possess Your Inner Land
Deuteronomy 2:24-25 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Deuteronomy 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God commands you to rise up, cross into the land He has given, and begin to possess it; your inner state precedes outward effects, and the world will sense your authority and react with fear or awe.
Neville's Inner Vision
The land represents a state of consciousness you are called to possess. Sihon and his land are your present limiting beliefs, the fears you allow to govern you by habit. When God says, I have given you the land, He is speaking the I AM within you, the awareness that already contains the completed self. Your journey and crossing the river Arnon are movements of imagination that translate that inner fact into outward experience. The dread the nations will feel is the tremor produced in others by your unshakeable center. To begin possessing it, assume the finished state now: you are the conqueror who has already crossed into your promised ground. Your imagination is the law that creates your world; inhabit the state first, and outward change will follow. When you claim this, the kingdom begins within, and others respond to the authority you have declared about yourself.
Practice This Now
In a quiet moment, declare, I AM the possessor of this land; I have already crossed the river Arnon in consciousness. Feel the certainty rise in your chest and let the imagined reports of others trembling at your presence anchor this truth.
