Biblical Context
Deuteronomy 2:10-12 speaks of giants from the past dwelling in the land and later displaced by the rightful possessors. Spiritually, these giants symbolize fixed, old states, while the LORD's gift of land represents your inner kingdom already granted in awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
You are not reading a history book but listening to the whisper of your own I AM. The Emims and the Horims are not people in a distant land; they are the giant beliefs and stubborn habits that have claimed Seir—the inner terrain of your mind—for ages. The LORD gave unto them the land, and to Israel the possession of that land. This is your reminder that the ground of awareness itself is the grantor and the grant. When you know who you truly are—your I AM—the land of your inner kingdom is already provided. The giants appear large only until you, in imagination, accept the land as yours. As you revise the sense of self from poor or fearful to complete and awake, those former states retreat and surrender to the present reality of consciousness. Providence and guidance are not external tricks but the steady rhythm of your own awareness shaping perception. The Kingdom of God rises within as you dwell in the feeling of the wish fulfilled and treat the land as yours.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and set the assumed state: 'I am in possession of my inner land.' Feel the Emims and Horims as shadows receding, the landscape brightening, and your consciousness ruling from the shore of the land that's now yours.
