In Neville's terms, the 'Prophet' is your inner state of consciousness, the I AM that speaks through you when you affirm the truth of your wholeness. When you hear the inner word, you hear not a distant oracle but the immediate decree of your own awareness, declaring what is possible and true. The 'brethren' are the other aspects of self—memory, aims, and your better self—ready to deliver the coming word when you close the gap between lack and assurance. Thus the prophecy is not something to chase from outside, but a statement to be claimed from within. By remaining faithful to your I AM, you allow the inner decree to govern outer acts, and reality follows the inner movement of consciousness.
