Into Your Inner Promised Land
Deuteronomy 1:34-38 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God heard the people's words and swore that this evil generation would not see the good land, except Caleb who wholly followed the LORD. Joshua shall enter and lead Israel; Moses is not to go in.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner Israel awaits not a geographic place but a state of consciousness you enter by choosing to abide in the I AM. The 'evil generation' is the mental atmosphere that doubts and complains; Caleb’s fidelity is a decision to wholly follow the LORD within. Joshua, standing before thee, is the self you awaken—the consciousness that leads you through belief into realization. The LORD's anger is not punishment but a sign that you have been identified with the old self; the decree that none of that generation shall see the land points to a release from old habits that resist the present now. When you cultivate and encourage Joshua, you activate Israel’s inheritance—the land you have already imagined into existence. Practically, assume you already dwell in the land; revise any memory of failure by repeating, 'I wholly follow the LORD' and feel that your inner land is present here and now.
Practice This Now
Assume the role of Joshua for five minutes: close your eyes, picture the terrain of your inner land, and feel yourself leading with confidence; then declare 'I wholly follow the LORD' and let that conviction settle into your body.
