Inner Covenant and Vision Unfolding

Daniel 9:24-27 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 9 in context

Scripture Focus

24Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
25Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
26And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Daniel 9:24-27

Biblical Context

Daniel 9:24–27 outlines a divine plan to finish transgression, end sins, and reconcile iniquity, bringing in everlasting righteousness. It also sets a timeline for rebuilding Jerusalem and the appearance of the Messiah.

Neville's Inner Vision

Seventy weeks are the inner forecast of your own consciousness, a divine schedule for waking from the dream of limitation. The transgression you seek to finish, the sins you long to end, the reconciliation you yearn for are not external events but the shifting alignments of your attention until you rest in the I AM. The Messiah the Prince is the realized self, the clear awareness that you are the authority who writes the story. When you hold to the wall you will know it is built by steady awareness in troublous times. The 'cut off' of Messiah points to moments when you react from old images; yet the covenant with many for one week marks the commitment to a single, unbroken faith in your own sovereignty. In the midst of the week, the old sacrifices cease as you cease feeding on fear, and desolations are poured out upon the desolate ego until the consummation—ongoing, complete restoration of your inner city. All this is one act of consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, breathe deeply, and revise a limiting belief by declaring, I AM the author of my life. See the inner city of your consciousness rebuilt, walls rising in calm certainty, and feel the relief of restored order.
