Daniel 7:9 shows the Ancient of Days seated in radiant judgment, a symbol of divine sovereignty. The scene invites us to recognize inner authority.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the book of Daniel, the Ancient of Days is not a distant throne but the steadfast I AM that dwells in you. The white garment and the hair like wool are symbols, not costumes of history, but traits of pure consciousness—clarity, incorruptible awareness, unchanging and attentive. The throne of fire and wheels of burning flame reveal the living movement of your awareness when you cease to identify with passing thoughts. As you behold this scene in imagination, you are invited to shift your allegiance from the clamor of external kingship to the sovereignty of inner witness. When thrones are cast down in your inner theater, you release the belief that power rests outside you, and you allow the fiery light of awareness to preside over every scene. In this vision, judgment becomes a refining, not a punishment: it cleanses belief, aligns you with your true state, and makes room for holiness and separation in your mind. The Ancient of Days sits as you, here and now, ruling from the throne of consciousness. Your work is to identify with that I AM and let the rest fade.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, I am the Ancient of Days, the I AM within me; feel the white radiance of awareness and let the fiery throne preside over every thought. Then revise a current fear by affirming 'I AM that I AM' ruling this inner scene.
