Daniel's Inner Lion Den
Daniel 6:21-23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Daniel tells the king he is safe because his God sent an angel and shut the lions' mouths; Daniel had done no harm, believed in God, and was saved.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel’s deliverance is your inner drama revealed. The king is the outer mind, the lions are the doubts pressing in, and the angel is the awakened I AM within you. When you feel innocent before God—when you consent to your inherent righteousness as your reality—your inner protector takes action. The mouths of the lions close because you no longer empower fear with belief; you simply know you are unhurt because you are one with God. This is not about luck, but about the state you inhabit. If you can say, 'I am innocent before God and man,' and truly feel that assumption, your den dissolves. The king’s gladness is the clear manifestation of your own inner verdict: you have returned to your true self, and any attack dissolves into your realized love. Daniel’s ascent from the den is your ascent from limitation, accomplished by conviction, not circumstance.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume the outcome: 'I am innocent before God; the I AM protects me now.' Visualize the den, see the lions calm, and feel the relief as you are unharmed, because you believe in God—right here, right now.
