The Inner Dream Revealed
Daniel 2:7-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 2 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The king demands the dream itself and its interpretation; his advisers seek more time with clever words, exposing the pressure to reveal hidden knowing.
Neville's Inner Vision
All of the outer demand for the dream is but your hunger for a meaning you cannot yet see in yourself. The king is the conscious mind pressing for a revelation; the dream you seek arises from within, and the interpretation is a function of your current state of awareness. The true source is not the wordy chatter of the educated voices, but your I AM, the living awareness that sees what you have formed in imagination. When you feel the impulse to stall and barter with time, you are brought to a choice: align with doubt or align with the certainty that the inner image already exists. If you declare, 'I AM the dreamer and the dream's meaning is mine now,' you dissolve the decree of punishment and reveal the answer in your heart. The outer decree cannot bind you when you accept responsibility for your inner vision; imagination translates inner image into outer fact by the law of consciousness. So you move from waiting for a sign to becoming the sign, and the dream and its interpretation appear through the I AM you affirm.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, place your hand on your chest, and declare, 'I AM the dreamer; I know the dream and its meaning now.' Then rest in that certainty and observe an inner image or interpretation arise within.
