Gratitude Awakens Inner Wisdom

Daniel 2:23 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 2 in context

Scripture Focus

23I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter.
Daniel 2:23

Biblical Context

Daniel thanks the God of his fathers for giving him wisdom and might and for revealing what they desired—the king's matter. He frames the revelation as a direct gift of divine enablement.

Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel’s gratitude is an inner turning of the key. The God of his fathers is your own I AM—awareness that furnishes wisdom and power when you stop seeking from without and look within. Saying 'hast given me wisdom and might' becomes a declaration that your consciousness is now capable of discerning what was hidden. When you align with gratitude, you shift from lack to presence, and inner vision arises. The 'king’s matter' is any problem or decision; its solution already exists as a mental pattern waiting to be named. The moment you acknowledge this, you reveal it to yourself; the outer world becomes a mirror of your inward certainty. Cultivate the feeling of one who already possesses the answer, repeat 'I thank thee,' and let the memory of your inner faculties rise. Revelation occurs as you abide in the truth that you and the One Power are one, and that awareness is the instrument through which truth is made known.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and, in vivid imagination, assume you already know the solution to your king’s matter. Feel it as present reality, then declare, 'I now know the answer,' letting the certainty settle into your being.
