Inner Kingdom in Division

Daniel 11:4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 11 in context

Scripture Focus

4And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.
Daniel 11:4

Biblical Context

Plainly, the verse shows a king's rule that is established only to be broken and scattered by the four winds, not passing to his offspring. It speaks of the fragility of outward power when governed by lineages or domination.

Neville's Inner Vision

Read as a spiritual truth, the line tells you that the king's power is not secure in time or blood but subject to inner movements. When you stand in the awareness I AM, the so-called kingdom of self becomes vulnerable to being broken and divided into four winds; your attention scattered among external conditions, people, money, and time. The 'posterity' here is not your children but the continuation of a former state of consciousness. The prophecy says the kingdom is plucked up for others beside those, meaning that whichever sense of self you cling to will yield to a newer, more alive state when you dare to revise. In Neville's method, the world changes when you assume the end already achieved, feeling the inner unity of the I AM as your sole governor. The four winds become signals to shift your focus inward until outward conditions bow to your inner conviction.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare, 'I AM the I AM; my kingdom is undivided now.' Feel the wholeness saturating every thought until the sense of division fades.
