Inner Kingdom, Silent Power
Daniel 11:26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Daniel 11 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The verse plainly describes a ruler whose strength is fed by others’ resources, and whose army then overflows, leading to many being slain.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel 11:26 is not a political forecast but an inner map. The king is the self you have fed with outward tokens—approval, status, and possessions. 'They that feed of the portion of his meat' are the thoughts and people that profit from that old feeding, and they destroy him by keeping him tethered to lack and fear. When you allow that appetite to govern you, your 'army'—the habitual thoughts, worries, and plans—swells and overflows, and many cherished beliefs fall slain. This is not punishment but release: the moment you turn from feeding the ego and feed your true I AM, the army dissolves, and the inner kingdom advances. The law is simple: your inner state births your outer world. Your responsibility is to hold the vision of the I AM as the sole nourishment and to let the old picture fall away, knowing the Kingdom is yours here and now.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: In a quiet moment, assume 'I AM' as the source of all nourishment. Imagine feeding only on the inner kingdom, and see the old self and its army dissolve into light.
