Scripture Focus

16But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed.
Daniel 11:16

Biblical Context

The verse describes a force arising against him that acts of its own will, and none can withstand it as it stands in the glorious land which it consumes.

Neville's Inner Vision

On the level of consciousness, this verse speaks not of a battlefield but of your inner sovereignty. The 'one' who comes against him is the stubborn belief that you are poor, scarce, or threatened; the 'glorious land' is the state of awareness where God abides as I AM. When the challenger acts by its own will, it shows you have lent power to a sense of separation. Yet the passage also says he shall stand in the glorious land, and by his hand it shall be consumed—revealing that attention, fixed on lack, can be redirected by assuming the end. The conquering force is not outer violence but the realized unity of consciousness; as you dwell in the awareness that you are the I AM, the imagined opposite dissolves and the glorious land is established within. Judgment here is merely distinguishing between fear and faith; you choose faith, you revise the scene, and what opposed you melts away before the light of your inner kingdom. In Neville's terms, the outer world mirrors your inner state, so your assumption creates the next scene.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, declare, I AM the I AM; imagine yourself standing in a radiant, glorious land within, and feel the assurance that the end is already accomplished; dwell there for a few moments until the sense of abundance outpictures as your world.
