Beloved Strength Within

Daniel 10:15-19 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Daniel 10 in context

Scripture Focus

15And when he had spoken such words unto me, I set my face toward the ground, and I became dumb.
16And, behold, one like the similitude of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spake, and said unto him that stood before me, O my lord, by the vision my sorrows are turned upon me, and I have retained no strength.
17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, straightway there remained no strength in me, neither is there breath left in me.
18Then there came again and touched me one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me,
19And said, O man greatly beloved, fear not: peace be unto thee, be strong, yea, be strong. And when he had spoken unto me, I was strengthened, and said, Let my lord speak; for thou hast strengthened me.
Daniel 10:15-19

Biblical Context

Daniel falls into silence and weakness, then an inner messenger touches his lips, and he is revived to speak again; he receives a promise of peace and strength.

Neville's Inner Vision

Daniel's tremor and loss of breath are not literal fatigue but a state of consciousness you often inhabit when you forget who you are. The touch that unlocks his lips is the inner invitation of the I AM to revise the scene from limitation to possibility. 'Greatly beloved' is your inner recognition that you are already cherished by the One within, and 'be strong' is the reminder that power is a settled condition of awareness, not a mood to be stirred by circumstance. When the presence speaks 'peace be unto thee,' you learn that serenity is a neurological alignment with your true state, and strength follows as you refuse to entertain lack any longer. The strengthening is your imagination returning to itself, proving you never truly left the divine company; you simply forgot. Stay with the feeling that you are the one who has been strengthened by your own assumption, and the outer events will adjust to your inner tempo. Persist in the assurance of support and endurance, and grace becomes your habitual atmosphere.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and revise the scene: picture the beloved inner guide touching your lips and saying, 'peace be unto thee, be strong,' until the feeling of strength floods your body.
