Biblical Context
Daniel mourned for three weeks; a vision was revealed and understood. A messenger explains that the timing was long, and that the vision concerns his people in the latter days.
Neville's Inner Vision
Daniel's three weeks of mourning are not punishment but inward purification. The linen-clad messenger is the I AM stepping into your awareness, blazing with Uphaz gold, brightness and truth flooding your sense of separation. The 'face like the appearance of lightning' and 'eyes as lamps of fire' denote a clarity that purges fear and excuses, so that the words you speak can carry authority. The delay of the prince of Persia represents a stubborn mental habit opposing the new state; yet Michael, your inner prince, arrives to help you hold the line until that habit dissolves. When the messenger declares you are 'greatly beloved' and commands, 'Fear not,' Neville's technique would have you assume that you have already heard and that you are now strengthened. The vision is for many days because your inner realization unfolds as you practice living from the new consciousness rather than the old story. You are the speaker; your world aligns with your inner truth.
Practice This Now
Assume the role of Daniel now: set your heart to understand, and in imagination feel a luminous hand lifting you to stand and hear, 'Be strong—your words are heard.'
