Faith is not belief in some external event but the unwavering trust in the Christ within—your awareness as I AM, the living presence that gives form to experience. Love for the saints is the felt connection in consciousness, the sense of unity with all who stand in the light. Paul praises this inner condition as if it were observed by others, yet Neville would say it is the inner reality you now acknowledge. When you imagine this faith and love as already present, you align your entire mind with the good that follows in outer life. The verse invites you to revise any sense of separation: see the saints as manifestations of your own higher self, and the faith in Christ Jesus as confidence in your God-given nature.
