Deliverance Into the Inner Kingdom

Colossians 1:13-14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Colossians 1 in context

Scripture Focus

13Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:13-14

Biblical Context

The passage speaks of being pulled from darkness into the reign of the Son, where redemption and forgiveness are given.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine a state in which Colossians 1:13–14 is not about places but about your inner geography. You are delivered from the power of darkness by turning your attention away from fear and aligning with the I AM that you are. The translation into the kingdom of his dear Son means your consciousness is relocated from separation to intimate fellowship with God, here and now. Redemption through his blood becomes the awareness that life has already flowed back into you, that guilt dissolves when you stop identifying with a split self and rest in the unity you share with the Son. This is not a distant event but a shift in memory and attention, a choosing of the kingdom as your permanent center. The Father is your own awareness; Judgment is replaced by forgiveness as you accept your oneness with the life that animates all. The external world will reflect this inward alignment as you dwell in the new state, and your will, power, and love are restored to their rightful sovereignty.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, declare mentally 'I am in the kingdom of the Dear Son'; feel the inner warmth of that state, then revise any self-talk that claims darkness or sin, replacing it with 'I am forgiven and one with God.'
