Acts 8:4-5 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 8 in context

Scripture Focus

4Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
5Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
Acts 8:4-5

Biblical Context

Persecution scatters believers who carry the word everywhere; Philip moves to Samaria and proclaims Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

I hear the text as an invitation: the outward scattering is the inward expansion of consciousness. The 'they' who go everywhere preaching the word are states of awareness that have awakened to their own divinity. Persecution is not punishment but release - like a stone pressed into the surface of water, where the ripples extend the reach of the mind. The city of Samaria is a particular attitude, a readiness to encounter the Christ within in a new domain. Philip's act of preaching Christ is not a different man moving about; it is the I AM speaking through every aspect of life, making known the truth that I AM is the source of all word and deed. When pressure presses the ego, trust that the inner word already inhabits all places, and its outward echo is the inner awakening you choose to feel. The kingdom of God arises in the spaces between fear and faith as the inner speech of Christ becomes practical in action, healing, and connection. Trust that your being, here and now, is the seed that grows wherever life scatters it.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM is preaching the word through you in every place. Revise fear into faith until you feel it real.
