The Word Multiplies Within
Acts 6:7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Acts 6 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The word of God grows, the disciples increase greatly in Jerusalem, and even priests become obedient to faith.
Neville's Inner Vision
All of this is interior law. The word of God is not a single event but a living idea within your consciousness. Jerusalem stands for the center of awareness; when that inner word takes hold, your inner followers multiply—habits, decisions, loyalties—that outwardly express as growth in your life. The priests who once served doubt become obedient to the faith when you yield to the conviction that Truth is already accomplished in you. The increase of the word is not a tally of persons but a rising coherence that gathers momentum until your outer world reflects the order of your mind. Therefore, dwell in the state you desire as if it already is. Treat imagination as the architect of reality; whatever you accept within becomes your outer scene. The verse invites you to inhabit an inner kingdom so fully that the city without follows the inner correction, proving that you are one with the living Word made flesh in your own experience.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, assume the finished state you desire, and feel it real in your body until it becomes the living truth you carry into every moment. Keep repeating 'It is done in me now' until that sense of completion remains.
