Inner Word First, Service Second
Acts 6:2 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The twelve choose to keep their focus on the Word of God rather than being diverted by daily tasks, and they delegate the practical duties to others so they can devote themselves to prayer and the Word.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the Word of God is not a book to be read from without; it is the I AM you awaken into each moment. When the twelve say we must not leave the Word to wait on tables, they reveal a truth of inner economics: the outward world cannot intrude upon the inward order of your consciousness. Your true power lies in maintaining the inner Word as the governing principle, the seed from which all acts spring. To revise is to assume that you are already the Word, that you dwell in a field of awareness where all needs are met by your creative attention. See yourself doing the daily work with a consciousness that is rooted in I AM, while others carry the outward tasks. This is not neglect of service but obedience to your inner mission; it frees you to witness by the force of inner reality, not by external pressure. The effect is sharper discernment, steadier faith, and a life that reveals the Word in every moment.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume you are the Word itself, the I AM within. Then revise your day by affirming that outer duties are carried out by others while you stay centered in the inner Word.
