Acts 23:34-35 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Acts 23 in context

Scripture Focus

34And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cilicia;
35I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.
Acts 23:34-35

Biblical Context

The governor reads the letter, learns Paul is from Cilicia, and says he will hear the case when the accusers arrive, then commands Paul kept in Herod's judgment hall.

Neville's Inner Vision

In the diorama of Acts, the governor’s words reveal that every scene in your life is a state of consciousness made visible. The letter you hold is the belief you have drafted about who you are; to learn you are Cilicia is to recognize the region of your mind that carries a history of trials. When he says, I will hear thee, the inner self grants permission to listen to every voice within, provided the accusers—those other thoughts—come forth in due order. The instruction to keep Paul in Herod’s judgment hall is not punishment but the discipline of staying within the arena of judgment until you have heard all sides. As you insist upon hearing before verdicts, the Presence of God—the I AM that you are—presides, not as tyrant but as loving judge. Your circumstance arises from your inner state, so your freedom lies in imagining you already stand as the one who hears—without fear, without haste—and your outer world will align with that vibrational reality.

Practice This Now

Imaginative_act: Close your eyes and imagine you, the I AM, as the governor who will hear all sides of your mind; declare, I will hear thee, and rest in the calm Presence while you revise your story into understanding.
