Scripture Focus

37And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul's neck, and kissed him,

Acts 20:37-38

Biblical Context

Paul's farewell scene shows the believers weeping, kissing, and accompanying him to the ship, grieving the prospect of not seeing him again. It speaks to the depth of love, unity, and the sense of departure.

Neville's Inner Vision

Paul stands in your awareness as the arrival of a new state, and the weeping is a sign you are identifying with an old sense of separation. In this inner vision, the crowd's kiss is the sealing of a new assumption: 'I am always accompanied by the Presence.' The words about seeing his face no more reveal a fear that the beloved aspect of yourself will depart; yet the I AM never leaves you. When you feel that you are not alone, you step into the truth that the divine presence is your own awareness, always present and welcoming. To practice, assume the experience of Paul beside you—his words you will hear as confirming that the state you seek is already real in consciousness. Revise the scene: you do not lose him; you understand that every departure clears space for a deeper contact with God within.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the inner scene now: feel the I AM beside you as you move to your next state, and the Presence ever with you. Revise the fear of loss into the assurance that the I AM is with you now and forever, and feel it real by repeating 'I AM with you' until it settles.
