Acts 19:6

Biblical Context

Paul lays hands on the believers. The Holy Spirit comes upon them, and they speak in tongues and prophesy.

Neville's Inner Vision

To the awakened seeker, this scene is not a historical event to be remembered but a depiction of your own consciousness. The act of laying hands is a deliberate turn of attention, a choosing to acknowledge the I AM within; when your awareness rests in that noble center, the Holy Ghost, your inner Spirit, descends as a felt presence. Tongues do not merely mimic language; they are the living language of your renewed mind, the soul speaking in harmony with divine order. Prophesying is the natural expression of a mind aligned with the Absolute: you declare your world from the standpoint of one who knows reality is conceived in consciousness. The gift comes as a result of an inner state, not as a distant power granted from without. If you believe you have already received this Spirit, you will find the external signs follow—impressions, messages, opportunities, and a confidence that all things are possible in your assumed state.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly, place your attention on the I AM within, and assume you are already filled with the Spirit. Then speak a brief, confident statement of that state and permit the felt sense of reality to expand.
