Biblical Context
Paul receives a night vision in which the Lord tells him not to fear, to speak boldly, for He is with him and there are many people in the city.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through Neville's lens, Acts 18:9–10 reveals Paul's fear as a transient state of consciousness. The night-vision is an inner alignment: the I AM speaks, and the sovereign I AM is always present wherever you stand. 'Be not afraid' is not a command from without but a directive to revise your inner state until fear dissolves. 'Speak' and 'hold not thy peace' become practical instruction to let your inner truth pour forth as outward speech, trusting that imagination creates reality. 'For I am with thee' declares the presence that underwrites every act; no imagined threat can affect you when you dwell in that realization. The clause 'I have much people in this city' translates to: your mental city already contains the listeners, the opportunities, and the support you seek because consciousness is one, and you are that one. Your task is to align with that fulfilled state and allow it to spill into physical reality through fearless, persistent speech, knowing the I AM is always with you in every moment of expression.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and revise your inner state to 'I am with thee'—feel it real. Then imagine the city already full of listeners and let that sensation linger, readying you to speak boldly without fear.
