Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Beloved is praised for faithfully aiding the brethren and strangers. By witnessing to this charity before the church, the act becomes a godly step that blesses the journey.
Neville's Inner Vision
In this brief stewardship of kindness, the Scripture indicates that your inner state of love is the currency of life. The brethren and strangers are but the two faces of your own consciousness—those aspects you are willing to bless with your awareness. When you say, 'Beloved, thou doest faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren and to strangers,' you are not addressing others alone; you are affirming that your I AM is alive in every exchange. The 'charity' witnessed before the church is the inner testimony that your intention has moved from wish to deed, from thought to form. To 'bring forward on their journey' means you sustain the movement of any idea or need by a godly, aligned action; you supply the means through which your inner state travels outward and manifests as form that supports another. The 'godly sort' is simply alignment with the divine assumption—live as if your reality is already whole, generous, and guided by love. Do this, and you will 'do well' as your inner monarch manifests abundance through acts of hospitality and mercy.
Practice This Now
Assume you have already provided for another's journey; visualize the scene, feel the hospitality, and let that fullness register as your present reality. Then let the feeling of abundance linger, knowing your I AM is the source and witness of every manifestation.
