Called by Gospel to Inner Glory

2 Thessalonians 2:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Thessalonians 2 in context

Scripture Focus

14Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 Thessalonians 2:14

Biblical Context

The verse presents a divine calling through the gospel to share in the glory of Jesus Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, the verse is not a distant event but a present invitation: you are called by the inner gospel to awaken the glory that already resides as the Christ within. The glory of our Lord Jesus Christ is the true nature you carry—the radiance of your own I AM shining through your sense of self. The word called indicates a shift of consciousness you choose in the moment you listen to the inner gospel and decide to live from the end: glory now, here. Salvation becomes the restoration of awareness to its divine grandeur, not a later rescue. Your vocation then is the daily practice of tending toward that inner state—attention, imagination, feeling at home in the truth you are the living expression of God. Grace and favor appear as you resist identifying with lack and instead dwell in the I AM. Hope and future melt into the present certainty that Christ within you is the truth of who you are, here and now.

Practice This Now

Practice: sit quietly, breathe, and assume you are already in possession of this glory. Feel it as real and declare I am the glory of God within me now.
