Hebron Within: David's State
2 Samuel 2:2-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
David goes up to Hebron with his two wives, Ahinoam and Abigail, and leads his men and their households to dwell in the cities there. This depicts inner unity, gathering all parts of self into a single center.
Neville's Inner Vision
I am David, the I AM awakening to its kingly nature. The ascent to Hebron is not a geography but a shift of consciousness, a moving of the inner center to a place where all parts of me dwell in unity. The two wives named here are not separate lovers of history, but facets of my being—Ahinoam and Abigail—desires and wisdom—present with me as I take stock of my inner kingdom. Bringing the men with their households signals the gathering of every thought, memory, impulse, and habit. I do not abandon any, I simply invite them to reside in a single city of mind. When I dwell in the cities of Hebron, I am declaring a state of dominion over my inner landscape. Kingship is the reign of conscious attention; authority is the assurance that every part of me aligns with the one I call I AM. The effect is harmony: inner unity births outer coordination, and the vision I entertain of myself is what I experience. Hence the house and the kingdom are one in imagination, and that unity is my reality.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and assume you are already dwelling in Hebron with all your inner households united; feel the kingly authority within you as real now. Let this assumed reality color your day.
