The Inner Word Of Timing
2 Peter 3:3-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Peter 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Knowing this, scoffers will come, mocking the promise of Christ’s return. The passage links the present order to the old creation and points to inner judgment as a transformative fire.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the last days are a state of consciousness, not a calendar. Scoffers are the doubts that arise in your imagination, asking where the promised coming is; yet the promise always stands as the I AM now. The word of God is the inner decree by which you order your experience; the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, speaks of the old beliefs you once deemed solid, now dissolved by a stronger inner truth. The world that then was perished, and the heavens and the earth which are now kept in store by the same word, are your present form maintained by a living assumption. The day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men is the inner clearing when you release the old stories and live as if the new existence is already real. There is no external time; awaken to the omnipresent Christ within, and let your inner word create the new heavens and earth you desire.
Practice This Now
Step into the state: I AM now; the coming is here in the now. When doubt arises, revise by saying, the word of God is within me, forming my heavens and earth, and feel it real.
