Inner Remembrance Practice

2 Peter 1:13-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Peter 1 in context

Scripture Focus

13Yea, I think it meet, as long as I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by putting you in remembrance;
14Knowing that shortly I must put off this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me.
15Moreover I will endeavour that ye may be able after my decease to have these things always in remembrance.
2 Peter 1:13-15

Biblical Context

Peter states his intent to stir the readers to remembrance while he dwells in a tabernacle, knowing he will soon put off that body, and wishing these teachings to remain with them after his decease.

Neville's Inner Vision

The I AM speaks through Peter’s words: your body is a tabernacle, not your essence; you are the living remembrance that does not perish. To awaken others you need not argue facts, but shift your inner state to the memory of truth as your present reality. The verse becomes a manual for consciousness: remember these truths now, and they outlive the physical form. By assuming the state of being already beyond the body’s ending, you release fear and render the teachings durable in daily life. The tomb is but a surface of consciousness; the essential you remains the I AM, the witness who remembers and reconstitutes life according to its eternal pattern. Thus, what you recall becomes powerfully real in you, shaping your outer world to reflect the inner certainty you cultivate today.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: In a quiet moment, assume the state 'I am the remembrance of these things now' and feel the certainty in your chest, letting that feeling radiate outward.
