Water in the Dry Valley

2 Kings 3:17-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 3 in context

Scripture Focus

17For thus saith the LORD, Ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, both ye, and your cattle, and your beasts.
18And this is but a light thing in the sight of the LORD: he will deliver the Moabites also into your hand.
2 Kings 3:17-18

Biblical Context

God declares the valley will be watered without wind or rain, so you and your cattle may drink. He adds that Moab will be delivered as well.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your inner landscape is the valley, and water is the living provision of the I AM within you. The promise that you shall not see wind nor rain shows you do not seek outer signs; you rely on awareness and your fearless assumption that the state is already yours. The water filling the valley stands for the sufficiency of consciousness that feeds you and your cattle; the deliverance of the Moabites symbolizes obstacles dissolved when you align with the truth of being. This is not a miracle forced from without but a natural reflection of your inner claim: the LORD calls it a light thing because it is true in the chambers of your own I AM, and the world merely mirrors your inner state. Therefore dwell in the end, imagine water flowing through the dry places, and feel the relief, gratitude, and abundance as though it exists now. When you persist in that awareness, the outer circumstances rearrange to match your inner realization.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and declare: 'I am the water in the valley; I have the supply now.' Feel the water rising and waters filling the land, and sense external obstacles dissolving as you maintain the experience of the fulfilled state.
