Inner Judgment of Judah
2 Kings 21:11-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Kings 21 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Manasseh's idolatry and wickedness lead to divine judgment against Jerusalem. The passage links their actions to looming destruction and exile.
Neville's Inner Vision
Observe that the scriptures speak not of distant kings alone, but of states of consciousness. Manasseh embodies a mind enthralled by idols, a will bent to surface appearances rather than the I AM within. When this inner idolatry reaches its height, the inner city—your quiet Jerusalem—becomes subject to a cleansing, a stripping of pretenses. The line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab are the inner measures by which you audit every desire, every image you have allowed to rule you. The 'evil' that comes is the natural correction of a misaligned imagination; the destruction is the clearing away of the false idol to reveal the living presence of God. In truth, nothing external can touch your being but your own state of consciousness. By refusing to worship limited images and turning toward the I AM, you invite neutrality, order, and return. What seems like punishment is only the mind resetting itself to its original, undefeated design.
Practice This Now
Assume you are already awake to the I AM within; revise every idol image by declaring I dissolve all false images and align with divine order now. Feel it real as you imagine Jerusalem purified, the line and plummet restoring balance inside you.
