Inner Reign of Consciousness

2 Kings 14:23-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Kings 14 in context

Scripture Focus

23In the fifteenth year of Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel began to reign in Samaria, and reigned forty and one years.
24And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD: he departed not from all the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin.
2 Kings 14:23-24

Biblical Context

Jeroboam II begins his reign in Samaria and persists in the sins of Jeroboam. He does evil in the sight of the LORD by clinging to those old patterns.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the Neville lens, Jeroboam II is a state of consciousness ruling the inner kingdom. The long forty-one years symbolize a stubborn habit of thought—idolatry of externals and a worship that honors appearances rather than the I AM within. This verse invites a return to true worship: the inner law replacing the idol, the inner king yielding to the divine I AM. You are not condemned for old patterns; you are invited to revise them by assuming a new reign of awareness. Stand in the awareness that the LORD is within you, not a distant judge, and let your covenant loyalty to that inner presence dissolve fear-based patterns. Through imagination and feeling-as-if, you dethrone the old king and enthrone love, unity, and obedience to the inner truth. With one inner decision, open the gates of your inner Samaria to harmony, so that outward life reflects this inner alignment.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the inner throne replaced by the I AM within you. Rest in that state long enough to feel the new loyalty and notice outward shifts reflecting true worship.
