Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
King Amaziah begins his reign doing right in the LORD's sight, but not as David did; the high places remain in worship. He defeats Edom and renames Selah Jokthel, yet his reform is partial.
Neville's Inner Vision
Your inner Amaziah stands at the helm of your consciousness in the second year, as if a new ruling power has declared itself. He does that which is right in the sight of the LORD, yet not like David—your new state still copies old patterns. The high places remain, meaning you still perform familiar rituals while calling them harmless memory. The kingdom is established in your hand the moment you decide to govern from I AM, and you act against inner assassins, yet you do not annihilate the children of fear; the law of Moses—each man dies for his own sin—speaks of personal accountability. This is your invitation: take full responsibility for the consciousness you currently claim. Move decisively against the inner Edom—the lower nature lying in the arid valley of salt—by letting old fears fall away. Call the fresh interior place Jokthel—the Judgment of God within your awareness. When you own the inner results, the outer world begins to reflect the inner order you choose. Practice comes by feeling it real now, not waiting for outer proof to crown your reign.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and assume: I reign in my consciousness now; old patterns are dissolved and the high places are made small. Revise the story: from this moment I am the king of my inner Jerusalem, defeating the Edom within and naming Joktheel in my awareness—feel it real.
