Inner King, Sacred Boundaries
2 Kings 11:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jehoiada orders the removal of Athaliah from the temple and the execution of the false image outside the sanctuary, preserving holiness and establishing the rightful rule.
Neville's Inner Vision
Think of Jehoiada as the disciplined governor of your inner state. Athaliah is the old, fear-ridden image that would seize your consciousness and destroy possibility. The command to lead her forth 'without the ranges' designates moving this counterfeit out of the sacred sanctuary of awareness, not within it. The sword is the clear discernment that discards illusion while preserving life. Let her not be slain in the house of the LORD means keep the holy temple intact; you simply cast out the counterfeit so the true king can reign. When the procession crosses the path by which the horses came into the king's house, you understand that the channels through which life enters are not to be tainted by this old image. The result is a restored order: righteous action, clean boundaries, and a consciousness in which the rightful king sits on the throne. Your inner governor can enforce boundaries and restore the true image by choice, now.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare, 'I crown the true I AM as ruler of my consciousness; I cast out the counterfeit image from my inner temple, carrying it away from the sanctuary and letting the rightful king rule.' Then visualize the old image being led away by captains and fading beyond the temple's boundary.
