Neville's Inner Vision
Everything in this verse is an inner posture. The 'brother' sent with them is not a person alone, but a state of consciousness you have proved trustworthy in many situations. Your great confidence rests in the awareness that your present state—your I AM—has the power to accomplish the intended good in your life. Titus, described as a partner and fellow-helper, embodies the cooperative faculties within you that work with your I AM to fulfill a task. The other brethren, asked about, are the messengers of the churches—your inner circles of belief and action, bearing witness to the reality you seek to bring forth. They are the glory of Christ, a radiant expression of the Immanuel within you. By shifting your assumption to this inner network, you remove dependence on external conditions and make the manifestation inevitable. Your job is to dwell in the feeling that these inner allies are always present, ready, and effective, and that the entire ministry of your life flows from the glory of Christ within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: In a quiet moment, assume, 'I am sending my inner brother and Titus-like partner to assist this work; I have great confidence in my inner messengers.' Feel it around your heart until you sense the glory of Christ within radiating through your actions.
