Aligned In Light Covenant

2 Corinthians 6:14 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read 2 Corinthians 6 in context

Scripture Focus

14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
2 Corinthians 6:14

Biblical Context

The verse warns against forming intimate partnerships with those whose life-paths clash with righteousness. Light cannot truly share communion with darkness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Imagine that you are not bound by a contract but by a consent of consciousness. Be ye not unequally yoked, for the fellowship of righteousness does not share a dwelling with the habit of unrighteousness. The 'unbeliever' in this reading is a belief, a mood, or a habit that would draw you away from your true I AM. Your real fellowship is with light—the steady, indivisible presence you are. When you feel drawn toward darkness, recognize it as a signal to revise your inner state, not to chase the outer circumstance. Stand in the certainty of your awareness and let your dominant state of holiness, integrity, and love push the opposing state into the background. The law of consciousness is only this: what you dwell in becomes your life. If you dwell in light, your world aligns with light; if you consent to darkness, you invite it to lead. So choose; I AM chooses through you, and your relationships conform to that choice.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume the feeling-state of being yoked only to light. Silently affirm, I am unified with light; all my associations now align with my I AM, and any opposing state dissolves.
