Power Within: Corinthians 13
2 Corinthians 13:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read 2 Corinthians 13 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Paul warns he will be present to address sin and asserts that Christ speaks in him with a power that is mighty in believers. He reminds us that though the cross may appear as weakness, life comes by the power of God, and we shall live by that power toward others.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture Paul as the inner voice of your own consciousness, speaking not to condemn you from without but to awaken you to your real self. When you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, remember that the proof is only as strong as your reply to this living Christ within; it is mighty in you because it is your own awareness. The cross—your old assumptions, fears, and limits—appears as weakness only until you realize they are dissolving in the power of God you already possess. By that power you live, not by the weakness of the ordinary mind, and so we also are weak in him, yet live with him by the power of God toward you. The coming again is the inner visitation when you recognize that the I AM is Christ speaking through you, transforming your thoughts, your body, your world. The evidence you seek is not external signs but the inner resurrection: your desires clarified, your choices aligned with divine life, and your relationships touched by that living power.
Practice This Now
Assume: 'Christ in me is mighty now.' Then feel the power of God moving through me as I act from that awareness.
